This PDF crochet pattern describes in US terminology how to crochet adorable mommy chickens with chicklets as shown in pictures.
Finished size will be approx. 8” (20 cm) tall, crocheted using sport weight cotton yarn and hook size C (2.5 mm). SMC Catania Solids was used to create the chicken in pictures. This pattern is also suitable for wool or acrylic yarn.

If you wish to make a larger or smaller version of this amigurumi, you can just use thicker or thinner yarn, with a matching size crochet hook. If so, you will need different amounts of yarn and different size safety eyes than stated in the materials list.
Parts in this pattern, will be worked in continuous rounds, as well as in rows.
 
Gauge: is not important for this pattern, just crochet tight enough so the stuffing will not show through the stitches.

- Yarn: turquoise (approx. 45 gr, 110 m / 130 yds), small amounts of yellow, white, brown, mint, orange and pink
- Fiberfill stuffing, safety eyes 9 mm, stitch marker, tapestry needle, pins, black embroidery floss, sewing thread in a matching color
 
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increasing, decreasing
